The study of numbers, shapes, and patterns is known as mathematics. Math is not only vital for life achievement, but it is also all around us. The science of mathematics is concerned with the logic of shape, quantity, and order. Everything in our everyday lives is built on it, including mobile gadgets, ancient and modern architecture, art, money, engineering, and even sports.

It’s evident for every school to study mathematics subject to the students from the very beginning of class. The Ministry of Education Department of India changes the syllabus of every class from time to time. This year also make modifications in the 9th and 10th classes of mathematics subject to reduce the extra burden of the children by removing the unnecessary topics. The other main reasons behind the changes of the syllabus by the ministry of education is given as under:

- Combine the math’s skills and proper theoretical/practical knowledge for upper primary class students.
- Adapt knowledge and understanding of basic concepts, terminology, principles, and symbols, as well as underlying processes and skills, particularly through motivation and visualization;
- Develop sketching skills; develop a grasp of basic algebraic skills
- While demonstrating a fact or solving an issue, experience the flow of reason; use the knowledge and skills obtained to solve difficulties, using more than one way wherever possible;
- To improve one’s capacity to think, analyze, and explain logically; to improve one’s knowledge of the importance of national integration, environmental protection, and other issues; to improve one’s ability to think, analyze, and articulate logically
